AMPHENOL BASE STATION ANTENNAS

Amphenol’s macro antenna solutions maximize functionality, flexibility, and performance.

We provide an extensive portfolio of multi-band base station antennas that cover up to three broadband frequency ranges in a single antenna:

  • 617-894 MHz or 698-960 MHz
  • 1695-2690 MHz or 1427-2690 MHz
  • 3300-4200 MHz

2 to 22 port models are available to maximize antenna functionality

Shorter 4FT versions of our popular antenna models are available to help operators address zoning challenges

Mid-band columns can be horizontally arrayed, not just vertically stacked, to maximize gain for a given length

Diplexed options are available for independent tilt

Industry-leading 40-Watt dynamic PIM testing is available

Beamwidth options at less than 65° are available

We offer FDD and TDD configurations that operate with all radios

C-Band Expansion

In 2023, Amphenol integrated CBRS/C-Band or n77/n78 arrays into our broadband antennas,
allowing operators to use this newly available spectrum without increasing antenna counts.

Today, a complete offering of multi-band and standalone passive CBRS/C-Band or n77/n78 antennas
is available for those times when Massive MIMO is not cost effective.

A 20-port option that includes low, mid and high band

8T8R – The most capacity for a fraction of the cost of mMIMO.

Facing difficult zoning? This slim 4-port option features a 7″ width.

A C-Band/Mid-Band option is the perfect choice for non-anchor sites.

Quality in Design

Every Amphenol antenna is designed for the highest performance from the start.  We utilize the following when designing new product:

  • 3D EM HFSS and CST-driven models
  • 2D near-field scanners are used during prototyping
  • 3D near-field antenna ranges are used for qualifications at all facilities
  • 3D wind-loading simulations
  • Heat dissipation models for active units
