This lightweight antenna with a broad frequency band and rugged construction is ideal for both base station and marine deployments. Radiating elements are encased in a weather-resistant, low-loss fiberglass radome. The size and mounting fixtures allow for easy storage and fast installation. • 3 dBd (5.2 dBi), vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station and marine antenna, covering the VHF band
• Shipped with the sturdy “LW” mast mount – a lightweight, multipurpose, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of non-corrosive aluminum
• The accompanying U-bolts and fittings are made of stainless steel
• Can be mounted vertically or horizontally on 16-54 mm (0.6-2.1 in) diameter mast tubes
• Cable can be led either on the outside or along the inside of the mast tube
• Wide bandwidth with respect to both VSWR and gain
• The phasing of the radiating elements is adjusted to yield maximum gain in the horizontal plane with the level of the sidelobes reduced to a minimum
• To substantially reduce noise caused by atmospherical discharges, all metal parts in the antenna are DC-grounded. Consequently, the antenna shows a DC-short across the coaxial  cable
